The Research Results in Biomedicine​ journal is a peer-reviewed quarterly scholarly Journal with open access, which publishes the results of biomedical and clinical research focused on people and their diseases.
      The purpose of the Journal is to create on the basis of an interdisciplinary approach a base of scientific knowledge that provides a link between fundamental research and practical medicine.
     Subject matter covered in the Journal: genetics, pharmacology, medicine (obstetrics and gynecology, geriatrics and gerontology, psychiatry and mental health), with a special emphasis on interdisciplinary research (for example, genetic polymorphism and multifactorial diseases, cytogenetics of mental diseases, pharmacogenetic and genotoxicological studies, pharmacology of elderly and senile age, molecular genetic factors of women's reproductive health, molecular and cellular mechanisms of aging, genetic factors of longevity, etc.).

The materials of the Journal are available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License.

The Journal is an online edition.
The online edition has been registered at the Federal service for supervision of communications information technology and mass media (Roskomnadzor).​ Registration Number: ЭЛ № ФС 77 - 74739 from 29.12.2018. The international standard serial number of the journal is ISSN 2658-6533.

Free reproduction of materials from the Journal for personal purposes and free use for informational, scientific, educational and cultural purposes is allowed according to Articles 1273 and 1274 of Chapter 70 Part IV of the Civil Code of the Russian Federation. Users may read, download, copy, distribute, print, study, search, or link to the full-text papers in the Journal without seeking permission from the Publisher or author. This policy is consistent with the principles of the Budapest Open Access Initiative (BOAI). When quoting, a reference to the Journal is required. 

DATA STORAGE POLICY is aimed at selecting, storing and providing access to the Journal's archives. All papers published in the Journal and their metadata are stored in the Russian State Library, the Russian Book Chamber, on the Publisher's server and are available for public access on the Journal's website.

The following types of articles are accepted for publication:

  • original (experimental and clinical) studies;
  • short communications;
  • reviews;
  • case reports.

The Research Results in Biomedicine journal is included in the list of peer-reviewed scientific publications which publish basic research results of dissertations for scientific degrees of Doctor and Candidate of Sciences in the following scientific specialties: 1.5.7 – Genetics (medical and biological sciences), 3.3.6 – Pharmacology, Clinical Pharmacology (medical, biological and pharmaceutical sciences), 3.1.4 – Obstetrics and Gynecology (medical sciences), 3.1.17 – Psychiatry and narcology (medical sciences), 3.1.31 –  Gerontology and Geriatrics (medical and biological sciences).
The Journal is published online in Russian (with an English abstract) or in English. The issues are available on the Journal's website.
    Accepted papers are published free of charge.

    The Journal uses double blind peer-review.

Periodicity of the Journal: 4 times a year, once a quarter (March, June, September, and December).

    The Journal has been published since 2014 under the following titles:
    - Research Result. Series Medicine and Pharmacy (2014-2017).
    - Research Result. Medicine and Pharmacy (2017-2018).
    - Research Results in Biomedicine (2018 to present).
