These stoppers are made with using of carbon disulfide as solvent rubber. By medicines storing carbon disulfide is released from the material accumulation and plugs it into a dosage form. The presence of these carbon disulfide impurities in medicaments is unacceptable. Carbon disulfide is a substance of Class 2 toxicity. Lethal dose admission inside is 1 gram. Provides local irritant, resorptive action. It has psychotropic, nephrotoxic properties that relate to its narcotic effects on the central nervous system.
