The results are based on the analysis of medical records of the Department of Gynecology of the General Hospital covering the period of 2008-2011. Besides, the authors discuss the basic causes and preferred methods of treatment of this nosological unit in the conditions of the urgent in-patient facility. They estimate the age spectrum, the cause and amount of blood loss, the type of surgery, some aspects of the postoperative period, the length of stay in hospital after the operation, postoperative complications and the possibility of using minimally invasive methods of treatment in acute gynecological pathology. The article gives emphasis to the advantages of minimally invasive methods over traditional methods of the past emergency care in gynecology.</p>
<trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><p>The article presents some results of the authors&amp;rsquo; research and analysis of the literature in the study of the incidence and nosological structure of hemoperitoneum syndrome in acute gynecological pathology in modern conditions of the city in-patient facility.
