A COMPLEX OF PHYSICAL REHABILITATION IN THE TREATMENT OF PATIENTS AFTER MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION

Background. Today, myocardial infarction is the most dangerous complication of cardiovascular disease. There is also a risk of repeated myocardial infarction, with subsequent development of coronary heart disease. Therefore, the timely implementation of rehabilitation measures can reduce the risk of complications, reduce the effects of hypokinesia, decrease the amount of recovery time, and decrease the time of restoration to health and strength in people after myocardial infarction. The aim of the study. To study the influence of physical loads in the stages of rehabilitation of patients after myocardial infarction. Materials and methods. The research part of the work is executed on the base of GBUZ “Nal'chik Republic Cardiological Center” in the first cardiological department. 20 patients, including 15 men and 5 women, participated in the study. The average age of the patients was from 45 to 60. After myocardial infarction, all participants of the study received a two-months course of in-patient treatment in the department. In the course of the study, daily examinations of the participants included the study of their cardiovascular system, arterial pressure and frequency of heart contractions both at rest and after load. Results. In the course of the study it was revealed that therapeutic physical training was the most effective method of rehabilitation of patients with myocardial infarction, followed in the second place by therapeutic massage, and physical therapy procedures. In the course of subsequent questioning it was revealed that most patients followed doctors’ recommendations after being dismissed from hospital, which has contributed to improvement in the quality of their lives. The rest of the questioned patients did not follow recommendations due to a number of different reasons. Conclusion. Nursing staff can play an important role in convincing patients about the need to apply elements of curative physical exercises (LFK), as well as in their training. But for this they need to take a specialization course in exercise therapy.
