Assessment of compliance with the principles of a healthy lifestyle at a young age and cardiovascular risk assessment in the example of students of the institute of medicine
The article discusses the data analysis of compliance with a healthy lifestyle, as well as the assessment of cardiovascular risk in 114 medical students, depending on the gender and expertise. The study showed that more than 90% of students of the Institute of Medicine assessed their health correctly. There was detected a weak commitment to the principles of a healthy lifestyle among students. The combination of 2 or more cardiovascular risk factors was found in 33.5% of cases, highlighting the need for primary prevention of cardiovascular disease at a young age. Students have knowledge about healthy lifestyle, but not enough to use it in everyday life.
