THE LUTEIN AND ZEAXANTHIN CONTAINING SUPPLEMENT IN QUAIL DIET: THE BIOCHEMICAL CHANGES IN BLOOD AND EGGS
A xanthophyll-containing supplement of marigold petals and physalis calyces in the diet of quail had a positive effect on the metabolism and increased the concentration of lutein and zeaxanthin in egg yolk at a ratio close to 4:1
