COMPARATIVE EVALUATION OF HIXOZIDE IN RESPIRATORY TUBERCULOSIS
The authors have conducted an open comparative study of the efficacy and safety of Hixozide. The study included 30 patients with pulmonary tuberculosis, who for 21 days in addition to the combination of TB chemotherapy received Hixozide inhalations in accordance with the instructions for use. Significant positive dynamics of clinical, radiologic and endoscopic manifestations of tuberculosis were observed in the majority of patients − 78.6%, in 10.7% with a complete cure of bronchial tuberculosis. All patients with concomitant nonspecific endobronchitis (33.3%) during the treatment with Hixozide marked relief of nonspecific inflammation, reducing the amount and viscosity of sputum. Subclinical signs of toxicity were found. The results of the study indicate the efficacy and good tolerance of Hixozide in the complex treatment of patients with bronchial tuberculosis.
