NEGLECTED TUBERCULOSIS OF THE LUNGS: PROBLEMS AND EFFICIENCY OF THE REHABILITATION
Patients with neglected TB of the lungs are the basic reservoir of infection and results of their rehabilitation are an important indicator of the effectiveness of anti-epidemic measures. The authors studied the efficacy of treatment in the region in the context of complex treatment and rehabilitation, including increasing the patients’ adherence to treatment and drugs in the accompanying therapy. The efficiency of the ethiotropic therapy and clinical rehabilitation has increased as a result of inclusion of the accompanying drugs into the therapy of patients with neglected pulmonary tuberculosis. The use of Cycloferon decreases the time of MBT expectoration (including MDR) 94,1±3,33% in patients with a concomitant diseases. The effeciency of Cycloferon is caused by an immunoprotective effect and remarkable improvement in general condition of patients.
